Metamorphosis of the Bordertown Drive-In, Laredo Texas
Metamorphosis of the Bordertown Drive-In, Laredo Texas
About the Design
An homage to the Laredo, Texas, of yesterday in this design that features the photography of Josie Nericcio, Laredo-native and Laredo ex-pat, now based out of Los Angeles, Califas, where she plies her trade as a sound editor by day, and writer, playwright, poet, and more the rest of the time. The backstory on the photograph, which features the now defunct and destroyed Bordertown Drive-In theater, is that she stopped her car on Interstate 35 to capture its shift from Drive-In to Pulga/Swap Meet.
